Harvard School of Public Health Team Selects PTP to Develop Online Survey.
A team at the Harvard School of Public Health has retained Progressive Technology Partners to program an online survey for lawyers in the field of nursing home malpractice. The team, led by Professor David Studdert, Ph. D., and David Stevenson, a Ph. D. candidate, plans to use the survey to gather nationwide data on the amount and types of nursing home malpractice litigation in the United States today.
The survey will appear online in mid-October and run for one month. Between 500 and 750 lawyers will receive an email invitation to complete the survey and submit it online. Because the survey tool is online, the Harvard team expects a higher return rate than might be generated from a traditional paper survey.
The PTP program will store each survey form in a database. When the survey period is over, the data will be extracted and processed with a statistical analysis tool. The findings will be used to inform a formal report to be developed by Studdert and Stevenson.
