The Staten Island EDC is the leading adovacate for small businesses in Staten Island, New York. The agency uses a combination of public and private capital to improve the business climate in the Borough through a portfolio of lending and technical assistance programs.
Challenge:
SIEDC had a complex set of goals for its site, including local advertisement of its programs, listing of its commercial real estate database and, as a broader goal, promotion of the often forgotten "Fifth Borough of New York" to Metro Region residents and businesses.
In addition to its communication goals, SIEDC needed support through every step of the site development process, from setting up hosting to organizaing and writing content.
Solution:
Progressive Technology Partners helped SIEDC organize its programs and services into intuitiive, user-friendly categories, which allowed for seamless presentation of a complex network of programs. To earn recognition of the Borough, PTP used graphics and compelling statistical facts to place the Island in a regional context. Finally, we built an easy-to-maintain interface for SIEDC's commercial real estate database.
